The Age of the 40-Year-Old Solo Founder

What WOW Mentor breaks down is the conversation in which Bryant Chou, the builder of Webflow, returns to Y Combinator with Ploy. He deliberately circles back not to a new frontier but to web creation, the domain he knows best, extends the website into a company-wide marketing brain, and stacks a defensible layer on top of general-purpose models with a deterministic slurper and a purpose-built harness. The conclusion WOW Mentor draws is clear: the more AI releases intelligence without limit, the more the experience and taste to know where to aim that intelligence becomes the moat that lasts.
